Montana's crooked skylines outlining her mountain ranges, lakes and river valley communities have always opened my heart and inspired me.
My journey began with a study of Liberal Arts at Rocky Mountain College.
20 years later I returned to Rocky to earn a degree in Education. This led me to many unique places and people across the States, a country school, the desert , the Atlantic coast and the Rain Forest of West Africa. I taught children "ages 5 to 85" Educational Kinesiology. Multiple Learning Styles and Reggio Emilia methods through music, movement and the arts as a foundation for life long learning.
Returning home to friends and family under the Big Sky reignited my love of community gardens, my mother's roses and mountain wild flowers. I am constantly fascinated by the attributes of individuality which are a part of Montana's nature.
Present days find me at my kitchen table folding flower petals into clay or making clay from rose petals. Some semi precious stones and vintage beads compliment my "Petal Pearls" as I re-love and re-imagine designs for my personalized, timeless jewelry. I consider soft sculpture one of my favorite art forms.
